Morally Festive

Calling all "dancers, musicians, filmmakers, storytellers, poets, artists and synchronized swimmers" (at least in the NYC area!): Apparently, The Brick Theater in Brooklyn, NY is doing The Moral Values Festival June 3 thru July 3 and is accepting submissions until February 14th. As they describe it, it's "a performance festival for the morally questionable, morally perverse and morally bankrupt." Sounds like my kinda party! It continues: "THE MORAL VALUES FESTIVAL is a performance festival with an emphasis on theater, but with opportunities for dancers, musicians, filmmakers, storytellers, poets, artists and synchronized swimmers to apply. Any and all artists with works relating to the theme of Moral Values are encouraged to submit their works. Performance dates and times will vary with each show, but all works will be shown on weekdays from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm and weekends from Noon to Midnight."

Thought I'd post about it since it sounds like an interesting concept. Application (which is free!) and other information can be found at the theatre's website.
