YOlympics

The other night, New Jersey's own and future nurse extraordinaire Catherine pondered:

In watching the Olympics, I'm trying to figure out what sports we can feature should the games be held here in 2012. I've come up with:

* the bike race through midtown rush hour traffic.
* outrunning the drug dealers in Washington Square Park.
* driving from Columbus Circle to the Holland Tunnel at 4pm on the Friday of a holiday weekend.
* the endurance test: sitting through Mamma Mia!
* creating Thanksgiving dinner for twelve in the kitchen the size of a closet.
* gymnastics: squeezing yourself and your teammates onto the downtown 2 train at 5pm on a weekday.
* swimming across the East River without choking.

I'm sure there will be more.
